What is the durability of your hair systems? How long do they last?
The durability of our hair systems will depend on a variety of factors. The base material, type of hair, your lifestyle, and how you maintain the system will all affect how long the hair system will last. Check the product details table on a specific hairpiece’s product page if you would like to know the estimated durability of that unit.
Are your hair systems made with real hair?
Yes, all of our hair systems are made with 100% real human hair. The only exception is our grey hair, which is Japanese Kanekalon synthetic fiber. If you would like the grey percentage to be human hair, you can order a customized stock unit and specify this requirement.
What is the difference between your standard hair units and the Basic models?
Our basic models are created in a different factory than the standard hair units. This factory uses a streamlined process that allows the hairpieces to be produced quicker and for a cheaper price, but the quality of the standard hair systems is slightly better.
How long will a custom order take to be completed?
The estimated completion time for a custom order is between 4-6 months if you have not chosen guaranteed delivery. If you would like guaranteed delivery in 3 months, we have a custom rush program for $40.00 without samples or $50.00 with samples. If you pay for guaranteed delivery and it does not arrive in time, the rush fee will be fully refunded, no questions asked.
What is your return policy?
For retail clients, all stock hairpieces are returnable for a full refund or exchange, minus shipping fees, within 15 days of receiving the system, provided it is still in its original condition and packaging. Any final sale options like base cuts, hair styling, bleached knots, and perming mean that the item cannot be returned or exchanged. Custom orders, overstock/limited edition hair systems, and all supplies are also final sale. Can I take off this monofilament/mono silk top base men's hair system daily?
Yes, you can remove a monofilament/mono silk top base men’s hair system daily. For this, we recommend you use a daily wear hairpiece tape such as theSuper 1522or theSuper Red tape.
For perm services, what colors will we perm for men's toupees?
Color 1, 11B, 1B, 2, 2ASH, 3, 3ASH, 4, 4ASH, 5, 5R, 6 and 6R.
What is the difference between standard hair systems and BF hair systems?
The BF hair systems come with pre-bleached knots in the 1″ front hairline to give the hairpiece a more natural looking hairline, while the standard hair systems do not come with a bleached front.
What is the difference between a standard hair system and a PRO hair system?
Our PRO hair systems are made with soft Indian Remy hair that is similar to European hair in texture. They are also made with Nano-tech knotting and come with pre-bleached knots in the 1″ front hairline. The standard hairpieces are made with regular Indian Remy hair and are not made with Nano-tech knotting nor do they come with the bleached front.
Which stock hair units come with a deep contour?

Women's Toppers and Wigs
Can you cut women's hairpieces?
No, we can’t cut women’s hairpieces. Clients would have to bring the hair unit to a hairstylist in order to find the right placement for the topper or wig.
What are the best selling women's hairpieces?
TheP44andP46. They have the right base size for women, are breathable hairpieces with a monofilament silk top, and they both have medium density.
Which stock hair units come with a shallow contour?
TheP44andP45come with a shallow contour.
Can your toppers and wigs be permed, dyed, or bleached?
The simple answer to this is that yes, since these hair systems use 100% human hair, they can have the same treatments done to them as the hair on your head. However, it is important to remember that the hair in a hair system is much more fragile than natural hair would be, so processes that involve chemically treating the hair in any way can dry the hair out and cause shedding. It is best to have a professional who is experienced with hair systems and hairpieces do these treatments to avoid excess damage.
Can your wigs and toppers be parted in any direction?
Yes, currently all of our ladies toppers and wigs are considered “freestyle”, which means they can be parted in any direction.
Can I get bangs on my hair system?
While we cannot cut and style it for you, you can certainly bring your hair system to a local salon to get bangs cut into it, provided the hair system has long enough hair.
Do women's stock hair units come with gray hair?
Currently our women’s stock hair units come in solid colors only. We can do gray hair for custom orders however.

How long do hair extensions last?
The lifespan of hair extensions depends on how well they are maintained. Generally, the 4A hair extensions can last about 3-6 months while the 5A/6A hair extensions can last about 4-12 months.
How many packs of Clip In hair extensions for a full head?
For a full head installation, we usually recommend 100-150 grams depending on how much volume you want.Clip inhair extensions are 100 grams per pack, so for a full head we recommend about 1-2 packs.
How many packs of Hand-Tied Weft hair extensions for a full head?
For a full head installation, we usually recommend 100-150 grams depending on how much volume you want.Hand-Tied Wefthair extensions are 65 grams per pack, so for a full head, we recommend about 2-3 packs.

What could you suggest to a client that wants to use an acrylic-based glue on a lace hair unit?
Clients could use a hairpiece tape that is safe for lace hair systems, but the tape will be applied directly to the unit. The glue will be applied to the side of the tape which will stick to the scalp.
What glues are safe to put directly on lace hair systems?
Water-based glues, likeSafe GriporGhost Bond. Use a brush to apply a thin, even layer and let it dry for exactly seven minutes until it dries clear.
What temperature should I store the Ghost Bond glue in?
Ghost Bondis a water-based glue meaning it can freeze if placed in low temperature areas. For this reason, it should always be stored at temperatures above its freezing point. This is also why we advise against having Ghost Bond delivered in the winter time if you live in a cold area, as the Ghost Bond might freeze and crack the bottle.
What should you avoid putting on lace hair units and why?
You should avoid putting acrylic-based glues on lace or monofilament material as it can break down the hair and will cause shedding.
Custom Orders
Can custom hair units be made with European Hair for both men's and women's hairpieces?
No, we do not take European hair custom made orders yet.
Can I cancel a custom-made order?
Yes, you have 2 weeks from the date the order was placed to cancel the order. After this point, the hair unit will have begun production at the factory, so it will be too late to cancel.
Can I have dark roots in my custom-made hair unit?
Yes, you can. You will need to let us know the color that you want to use and the length of the dark roots (for example, 1″, 1.5″). Please keep in mind that there will be an additional fee for this option.
Can I order Premium hair for my custom-made hair unit?
Yes, you can. Please keep in mind that there will be an additional fee for this option.
Do I have to choose the same density for all of the hair system?
No, you don’t. You can choose a different density percentage by zone. You will need to let us know the exact density that you need on the front, top, crown, temples, sides, back, and parting line.
How can I place a custom-made order?
You can place the order online yourself or call us to speak to a custom order specialist who can place the order for you.
How many days do I have to change the details of my custom-made order?
You have 2 weeks from the date the order is placed to request changes. After this point, production on the hair system will have already started at the factory, so it will be too late to make changes.
How many highlight colors can I choose?
You can choose one base color and one highlight color. If you need more, there will be an additional fee.
I don't like layers. Can I order my custom-made hair system without them?
Yes, you can. Please make sure to indicate that you want your hair system to be one length (for example, 10″ one length).
I have a hairpiece. Can you make me a new one that is the same?
Yes, we can. You can mail your sample hair system to us and we can duplicate it. We can use it as a reference for the size, base design, base material, color, hair type, ect.
Shipping and Warranty
How much is overnight shipping if the items are located in two different warehouses?
For overnight orders, if the order items are located in two warehouses, we need to charge double shipping. DOUBLE SHIPPING COST IN USD: $28.00 + $18.00=$46.00. For 3 days saver, we will transfer everything to the USA which takes one day, then do FedEx 2 day shipping from our USA office.
In Florida for local pick up retail clients, how much do we charge as a convenience fee for placing an order, picking up, and dropping off packages?
There is no manual fee, just the $10.00 pick up fee. There is no charge for dropping off.
What are the shipping options and costs for U.S. clients to have extensions shipped to them from Canada?
FedEx Overnight – $18.00. FedEx 3 days saver – $12.00.
Can I request discreet packaging for my order?
Yes, you can. When you place the order on our website, at the checkout page there will be an option to add additional notes for your order. Here you can note that you would like the discreet packaging. If you want to make absolutely certain the note has gone through, you can also send an email to us at : sales@xnproduct.com with your order number and the request, which we will then make sure the shipping team sees.
What is the shipping fee for salon and retail clients when placing a custom order online versus placing their order over the phone?
US Salon via phone: Shipping is included.

US Retail via phone: Shipping is not included, will have to pay $12.00 for FedEx 3 Day Saver.

What is a complete trim off/empty lace?
The stylist will trim the empty Skin or Lace all the way to the hairline and a bit above, trimming a few hair knots as well. It will provide a blunter look to the hair system, as well as providing a more dense/voluminous look to the hairpiece.
What is the difference between Swiss lace and French lace?
Swiss lace is finer and more fragile than French lace, but blends better with the skin for a less visible and more natural appearance. French lace is slightly thicker and more durable, but will still give you the invisible hairline.
Do you do hair add-ons?
Yes, we do. Repairs may take from 1-2 months.
Can you send me extra hair?
Unfortunately, we are unable to send extra hair. However, you can purchase repair hairhere.
Is your synthetic grey hair heat-resistant?
No, it is not.
What is the difference between human and synthetic grey?
Human grey is more natural looking and delicate, but might turn yellow over time. Synthetic grey is more durable and will always remain white.
How do I cancel my order? Are there charges to do this?
To cancel your order, please contact us at +1 (209) 812 8928 or via email at sales@xnproduct.com where one of our customer service specialists will assist you. There is no charge to do this, however, please keep in mind that if the order has already shipped, it will not be possible to cancel it.
Can I return the exchanged order?
If you have exchanged an item and would like to return the new item you received, you can do so within 15 days of receiving that order as long as it is in its original condition and packaging.
